Axis Powers Hetalia Couples I Dislike

~ Germany x Italy- Just no. Intelligent, strong, and uptight Germany with messy, somewhat annoying, and fickle Italy? No. Germany has to save Italy so many times and all Italy does is whine. Sometimes, Italy gets on my nerves. I mean I like him, but I really can't do anything with GerIta. I don't really think it would work out... I like Italy and Germany as cute friends, just not together as a couple. See, I like Italy the country a lot, and I kind of dislike the way he is represented in Hetalia. I think he is stronger and way cooler than: "Ooh, Germany look at me!  I can't tie my shoes." (And while I think that is kind of funny- It gets old quickly.)

~ America X England- No. I always have imagined England as America's father/ older brother figure and it will not stop now. Like seriously? It's like pedophilia/ child grooming all together. ICK! Have you seen some of the fan-art? They show Baby America all cute with England and then BAM! They're kissing? Gross. Just no.

Besides, how the heck would England be the "uke"?! He used to be the British Empire for Pete's sake! He ruled most of the Earth and he just takes one of his former colonies pushing him against a wall?! I don't think so. He was a pirate- He knows how to defend himself. I bet he is just like Russia on the inside... And that is awesome. XD. (*coughdontblamemeforlovingthecrazyonescough*)


~ Russia X China- I dislike couples in which the partners are unequal or one is scared of the other. China seems scared of Russia in the show- I mean, he does interact with him, because of their history, but I don't really think that Yao is comfortable enough around Ivan to have a romantic relationship with him. But it could be okay, in the hands of a good author.


~ Spain X Romano- Ooh boy. As mentioned above, I don't like pedophilia and this one is definitely is one of those famous pedo couples. They're too awesome as friends anyways.

~ Prussia X Canada- Okay, I really don't mind this couple that much. I just don't see much history behind it besides the whole "maple syrup" thing and the remembrance. I don't think that is really a good basis for a relationship. Hey! England talks about Flying Mint Bunny! Is that the new couple? Plus, I don't think that their personalities go together that much. Prussia is loud, rude, and obnoxiousness and Canada is quiet, intelligent, and passive. How could a relationship between such different countries happen? They need something other than maple syrup to bind them together. Besides, doesn't Cuba give Canada ice cream and work together with him? Or is Cuba not KAWAII DESU enough for Canada?


~ France X Canada- This couple is almost exactly like USUK to me... Honestly. Except, this relationship is WAAY more of a tragic brotherly thing for me. France and Canada, I think, had a closer and more affectionate brotherly thing than England and America. (What I mean is that Canada was forced away from France, while America kinda left England.) So them dating or kissing COMPLETELY turns me off. -_-. I love these brothers almost as much as I like Russia and his sisters. There is so much potential of a deeper family bond that I think way too many people like to mistake as a romantic situation.


Wow, that was long. But truly, I don't mind Rochu or Prucan in the hands of a good author. And it doesn't matter if you do like these couples as long as you understand that I can hate or love any couples I want- and you can do the same. Just please don't shove them down people's throats.
